What feeds the Sitio dos Anjos Community is in fact the utopia of the Kingdom, the “not yet” of the new heaven and the new earth. Being on the way is the strength that fuels the journey! Utopia has guided us: minds and hearts that generously pursue acceptance, joy, brotherhood, grateful witness.

Without any pretense, we are aware that those who arrive have a feeling: "how good it was to be here!" In these years of walking, we have a lot to be thankful for and to be happy about:

• The joy of the children, teenagers and young people of Favela da Vila Prudente who, thanks to the contact with nature and the pedagogical action of teachers and monitors at the Favela da Vila Prudente Cultural Center, are able to experience what Pope Francisco encourages us to do: the experience of live the integral ecology;

• The joy of welcoming the lay people of the “Secular Fraternity of Charles de Foucauld” who, in the simplicity of their spirituality, make the site a reference point for meeting God and with the brothers and sisters in the mission.

• The joy with which the “Workshops of Prayer and Life” enjoy the paths, the alleys, the chapel for silence and encounter with God.

• The joy of being witnesses of the spirit of solidarity, friendship and struggle of the young people of the “MIRE – Mystique and Revolution”, a collective of young people who struggle “for another possible world”.

• The joy of friendship with parish communities from near and far that little by little will discover this space and find in the site a suitable place to pray, celebrate, rethink initiatives and projects.

• The joy of welcoming young Irish people from the Spiritan College Saint's Michaels in Ireland who in recent years has given us their presence. With them we are able to speak the universal language of solidarity. See their commitment to volunteer work. How simple and interesting! Different cultures that do not prevent mutual acceptance.

• Joy for the availability of the Spiritan Fathers Hugo and Patrick Clark, who created this space. They generously exercise the priestly ministry; the value they give to the laity, the encouragement, the confidence, the integrated and interested people who are involved in everything that happens on the site. They are priests who do not impose distances, who do not demarcate prohibitive and hierarchical spaces.

• The joy for the dedication and love with which the site's employees and volunteers take care of people, nature and buildings.

• The joy that so many people from around the world believe in this project and collaborate financially with it.

The crossing is long. The world invites division. It is necessary to build bridges: to witness that it is worth living in simplicity and integrated with Mother Earth.

Search with the projects of Sitio dos Anjos the “integral ecology”; to witness that it is worth sharing gifts, goods for a greater cause. The Kingdom is being built in the world of possibilities, it presents itself at all times with its signs. "You come, you come, I already hear your signals!"
