What we can say is that we were born in this Latin America on the periphery of the World with the dream of making it the center of a just, fraternal and sustainable project, not through pharaonic works and deeds, but through the commitment to the dignity of every human being wherever he wants. that you find yourself, whether in the favela, on the hill or in the mansion.
The task is long! We were inspired and helped by liberating theological reflection, by a welcoming people, by a legion of everyday prophets whose utopian dream of a land without evil survived centuries of neglect. We are also inspired by a holy indignation that does not accept the suffering of so many people.
In this utopian soil, among the children, the illiterate, the homeless and the floorless, the healthless and breadless, small seeds were sown and after a long germination - to the joy and hope of many - beautiful colored flowers sprouted to be cared for with love and courage in order to be able to follow their path.
Among the beautiful flowers is Sitio dos Anjos and its various activities: the “Retreats for Peace” program and the ecological project Laudato Si, both aimed at children, teenagers, young people and adults from the periphery and all those who share them. concerns.

What feeds the Sitio dos Anjos Community is in fact the utopia of the Kingdom, the “not yet” of the new heaven and the new earth. Being on the way is the strength that fuels the journey! Utopia has guided us: minds and hearts that generously pursue acceptance, joy, brotherhood, grateful witness.
